Phoenix: Officer shoot and killed bank robbery suspect

On Sunday The FBI revealed the trail of terror left by an unnamed suspect during his multi-state bank robberies that left one police officer dead and another critically wounded. The suspect who name is unknown was fatally shot by police, on Saturday morning after he robbed a bank at gunpoint using the same strategy employed in two earlier heists committed on Monday - one around 9:30 a.m. in Atlanta and the other around 3:15 p.m. in Tupelo.

The Tupelo robbery ended in the death of 38-year-old police Sgt. Gale Stauffer. His partner, 27-year-old Officer Joseph Maher, was severely injured but is recovering and expected to survive.
