Tony Blair promise more support for Liberia

MONROVIA: Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair has affirmed the African Governance Initiative (AGI) continuous support to the reconstruction of Liberia as a post conflict country.
Mr.. Blair a founder of the (AGI) said that AGI helps African countries to improve their governance system and their development agenda through the provision of technical support through experts.
In a press conference held at the ministry of foreign affairs on Saturday he said the challenges of Liberia, especially the lack of job opportunities remain a ‘barrier”, but the AGI will work with the Government of Liberia (GOL) and its people to help move the country forward in terms of infrastructural development. He said support will be provided in the coming years in the areas of electricity and roads.
