The victim of the Short Hills mall shooting has been identified as a 30-year-old patent attorney from Hoboken. The victim, Dustin Friedland, was shot in the head and died Sunday night at Morristown Medical Center
Friedland and his wife were shopping at the Mall at Short Hills on Sunday night. The couple was attacked by two assailants in the parking deck when they returned to their car, a 2012 silver Range Rover. The attackers sped off in the stolen car, heading east on Route 24 after shooting Friedland.
