According to the Bloomberg Billionaires index Bill Gates has recaptured the title of the world's richest person from Carlos Slim. Gates' net worth ballooned by $15.8 billion to $78.5 billion, as shares of Microsoft, rose 40 percent in 2013. Meanwhile Aliko Dangote, the richest black person and Nigerian businessman added $9.2 billion during 2013. He’s now the 30th-richest person in the world with over $30 billion.
