Fayemi gives N309m grants to 97 communities

Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State has distributed a total of N309 million as grant-in-aid to 97 communities across the state for the second phase of the community sevelopment and empowerment programme of his administration.
Governor Fayemi had last year distributed N300 million to 82 communities in the state, increasing the community grant to N602 million to 179 towns and villages  to carry out self-help projects. Fayemi said the money was meant to bring the developmental strides of his administration to all the nooks and crannies of the state.
