Missing Napal Plane leaves no survivors-Rescuers recovers 18 bodies fom snow

The bodies of 18 passengers travelling on a small plane over Nepal have been recovered following a fatal crash. Most of the dead were Nepali travellers and crew of the Nepal Airlines plane which departed from the resort of Pokhara on Sunday.

Rescuers had to walk through thick snow for eight miles to reach the crash site in the western district of Arghakhanchi. They discovered the remains of the passengers, which included a child and a Danish national.

Some had to be identified from travel documents because they were so badly injured in the wreckage of the Canadian-made Twin Otter plane. All 18 bodies have been taken to the capital Kathmandu, around 160 miles from the crash site.
