Pizza Hut district manager fired for peeing in sink

It might be a while before some residents of a West Virginia town are comfortable going to their local Pizza Hut again. A Pizza Hut located in Kermit was shut down on Tuesday after the Mingo Health Department found out that a district manager urinated in a metal sink in the food prep area.
A video of the employee's shocking disregard for cleanliness was posted to YouTube a few weeks ago.


Pizza Hut's corporate office confirmed to 13 News that the manager has been fired.
Pizza Hut said in a statement that they were embarrassed and they have "zero tolerance for violations of our operating standards."


A cleaning crew is flying in from Texas to clean and sanitize the Kermit location. They will also be cleaning restaurants located in Ceredo, Danville, Chapmanville and Logan.
