Pakistani boy dies while stopping a suicide bomber

A Pakistani boy,  Aitazaz Hassan Bangash, has died  while trying to defend his school from a suicide bomber. Aitazaz, 15, tackled the suicide bomber, grabbing him and preventing him from entering the school where hundreds of students were studying.

But Aitazaz could not stop the bomber from detonating the bomb and died of his wounds in hospital later. No one else was wounded or killed in the incident. Aitazaz has been praised as a national hero with his name being recommended for a top civilian honour for saving the lives of many of his classmates.
